We’re expanding our busy Bridgwater Depot and looking for a skilled Workshop Technician to join us full-time.

💷 Competitive Pay
* £20.03 per hour
* Overtime (after 47.5 hrs): £25.04 per hour
* Saturday: £25.04 per hour
* Sunday: £30.05 per hour

🕒 Shift Pattern
* Monday to Friday
* 10-hour shifts
* Flexible start times
* Occasional weekends (enhanced rates)
🔧 Your Responsibilities
You’ll play a key role in keeping our fleet safe and compliant:
* Inspecting, servicing, and maintaining HGVs to legal and company standards
* Preparing vehicles for MOT and transporting to Test Centres
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
* Handling minor accident damage repairs
* Recording defects and maintaining accurate service documentation
* Working on vehicles, trailers, and ancillary equipment
* Supporting the depot team to deliver high standards
This is hands-on, responsible work where your decisions matter.
✅ What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as an HGV / Commercial Vehicle Technician (essential)
* Strong diagnostic and repair skills
* Ability to work independently with a proactive attitude
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* High attention to detail
* Maximum 6 minor licence points (no CD, DD, DR or IN endorsements)
🎓 Qualifications
* City & Guilds Parts 1, 2 & 3 / BTEC / IMI
or
* Equivalent practical experience in the commercial vehicle industry
