Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we have an exciting new opportunity on offer for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a leading building services contractor, on a contract basis, however our client will consider a permanent position. As a part of this role, you will be required to work between our client's Cambridge work site, and their main office, located in London. The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to work on a large-scale Electrical and Built Environment project.
-Competitive day rate of £450 (depending on experience).
-On-site working environments (working between two locations).
Responsibilities:
-Direct and oversee electrical projects from start to finish, going through the stages of scope, design, implementation, commissioning, and handover.
-Manage and maintain all project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations, whilst observing project development, presenting solutions when required.
-Collaborate with numerous professionals and specialists, ensuring that the project maintains technical integrity, compliance, safety, and overall quality.
-Lead and control contract management, with a focus on risk and concern reports, variations, and full compliance with regulations and standards.
-Guide teams through on-site and office works, whilst managing and maintaining stakeholder expectations, documentation and effective communication throughout.
-Promote value engineering, project delivery development and progression, and cost control.
Requirements:
-Previous experience within an Electrical Project Manager role, or similar, with a Project Engineer background, with the ability to manage all design installation processes.
-Must have prior experience with Tier One and/or large-scale Electrical projects.
-Strong technical background, with an understanding of various electrical systems, such as ELV, power systems, high/low voltage, and lighting control.
-Solid commercial awareness, with knowledge of budget management, and the ability to deliver projects in an inexpensive and timely manner.
-Excellent communication, leadership, planning, and organisational skills, with the willingness to collaborate effectively with other professional teams.
-Willingness to work both on-site and in an office environment.
