We are seeking a talented Digital Account Director (Digital Planning & Activation) for a 6-month contract to provide seamless leadership for a major global entertainment and technology client. This role sits at the center of a hub-and-spoke delivery model.
About the Role
You will be responsible for overseeing digital media planning and activation delivery across biddable and platform-led channels. It requires a blend of digital planning leadership, activation governance, and client partnership to ensure strategies are planned holistically and activated consistently across multiple markets.

Digital Planning & Activation Leadership
* Lead digital media planning oversight, ensuring plans are strategically sound, aligned to business objectives, and feasible for multi-market activation.
* Partner with central teams to shape digital channel strategy, budget allocation, and channel roles.
* Ensure digital plans translate into clear, executable activation frameworks and act as the senior escalation point for digital delivery, performance, or operational risks.
Central & Local Market Collaboration
* Act as the primary bridge between central strategy teams and local activation markets.
* Ensure global/regional strategies are successfully adapted to local market requirements, balancing global consistency with local flexibility.
Client Partnership & Commercial Ownership
* Serve as a trusted senior advisor to client stakeholders regarding strategy, platform selection, and performance optimization.
* Clearly articulate digital trade-offs, constraints, and opportunities.
* Own commercial accountability across the scope, including PO management, forecasting, and accurate billing in coordination with finance teams.
Qualifications
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital media planning and biddable activation. We are open to strong Account Managers who are ready to step up into an Account Director role.
* Multi-Market Expertise: Proven experience working in a global position across complex, multi-market scopes. Familiarity with hub-and-spoke delivery models is highly desirable.
* Channel Knowledge: Broad cross-channel digital experience. If you are a specialist in one channel (e.g., Paid Social), you must possess a strong overarching multi-channel view. Hands-on experience in every single platform is not required, as activation teams will handle execution.
