Business Support Officer needed in Middlewich, £12.85ph

Office-based role, Monday to Friday, based in Middlewich.
Maternity Cover, 12 months.
Responsibilities
1. Respond to face-to-face and telephone enquiries from the public, external organisations, and internal clients, providing accurate information and excellent customer service. Refer callers to team members when necessary.
2. Perform clerical and administrative duties related to Waste & Street Cleansing, Parks & Grounds, and Fleet Services. Tasks include managing paperwork for motor-related insurance claims, updating daily work sheets and route risk assessments, and ensuring all correspondence is handled promptly and professionally.
3. Manage financial transactions for the team, including vehicle hire, and ensure records are maintained accurately. This includes reconciling income, preparing banking submissions, and inputting work costings into corporate systems, including timesheets and holidays.
4. Organise and coordinate meetings and events, attend when required, take notes, and follow up on actions to ensure timely and efficient completion.
5. Engage with service users through the preparation, distribution, and analysis of questionnaires. Contribute to campaigns and promotions, assist in event planning, and support the delivery of services.
