Industry Engagement Manager – CoSTAR National Lab
CoSTAR National Lab is the largest investment in creative industries R&D by UKRI, led by Royal Holloway, University of London. The lab will deliver a National R&D facility to support the UK’s screen and performance sectors, bringing together world‑leading research teams, industry partners and cutting‑edge technology such as AI, virtual production and 5G.
The Industry Engagement Manager is a key member of the Marketing & Communications team. Working closely with the Head of Marketing & Communications and the Access Programmes teams, you will design and deliver outreach, community‑building and event activities to promote the CoSTAR National Lab, its Programme activities and the wider UK creative‑technology ecosystem.
Responsibilities
* Build and maintain relationships with SMEs, arts, culture, technology organisations and industry specialists, developing a robust network of outreach contacts.
* Create and nurture communities of interest around piloting, business incubation, acceleration, enterprise and growth activities to unlock further value and broaden impact.
* Research, curate and deliver community and network events, online, hybrid and in‑person, supporting core CoSTAR National Lab activities.

* Experience in creative, inclusive and dynamic team settings, with a knack for generating engagement and outreach ideas.
* Positive, solution‑focused attitude, capable of multi‑tasking and managing competing priorities.
* Passion for emerging technologies, research and innovation, and an eagerness to work with world‑leading partners.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across university and industry stakeholders.

Location: Egham, Surrey (with opportunities to work at Pinewood Studios, Buckinghamshire from 2026).
Salary: £41,374 per annum, including London Allowance.
