We have an exciting opportunity for a Timber Frame Designer to join our team within Vistry Works, based at our factory in Warrington or Coalville, East Midlands. As a Timber Frame Designer, you will be responsible for preparing, designing, and coordinating both new closed and open panel timber frame designs and Building Information Models, working with external manufacturers, suppliers, and the internal production team.

What we expect from you…
* Align with our company values - Integrity, Caring, and Quality
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, in Modern Methods of Construction or Offsite Manufacturing/Construction
* Experience with 3D CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Inventor; familiarity with WoodEngine, Consultec, Horizon, HSBcad, or similar is a plus but not essential, as training will be provided
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
* Understanding of materials/components used in low-rise building construction
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage workload based on regional priorities
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
* Revit & Pamir experience is advantageous but not essential
* Steel detailing, trussed roof design, and 'I' Joist floor design experience are beneficial but not mandatory
* Knowledge of current building regulations is beneficial
* Qualification in Architectural Technology is a plus but not essential
About the Timber Frame Designer role…
* Designing accurate and efficient wall and floor panels, including creating cutting lists and CNC files
* Coordinating third-party floor & roof information for accuracy
* Producing Bills of Materials and ancillary take-offs
* Considering CDM regulations during the design process
* Providing technical support to site teams and factory colleagues
* Engaging in continuous product development and innovation
* Attending production and feedback meetings as required
* Performing other duties as directed by the team leader
