Up to 30 hours per week depending on availability and student needs
Working term-time and within school hours only

What you will be doing as a tutor
Delivering engaging 1:1 tuition sessions
Supporting core subjects (English/Literacy, Maths/Numeracy and Science) and confidence-building
Creating a positive and safe learning environment
Working closely with our highly experienced coordinators and Head of Service to support student progress
Providing mentoring and emotional support where appropriate
What we are looking for to be a tutor
* Experience supporting young people with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, or SEND needs is preferred
* Calm, patient, and resilient approach
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Ability to work independently and adapt to student needs
* Willingness to travel across Essex for face-to-face sessions
Teaching, tutoring, youth work, TA, mentoring, or alternative provision experience would all be beneficial.
