Aureos are seeking an admin assistant to work at our office in Crewe.
As a administrative assistant you will have very good administration, communication and interpersonal skills. This role involves sourcing and procuring of electrical components and construction materials for various projects for a business that is strongly involved in the UK DNO (Distribution Network Operator) sector.
Primary tasks and duties:
Timely Inputting of Orders onto Aureos ERP System (COINS)
* Either from requisitions generated on the COINS system or through quotations
Placing Orders on Suppliers
* Ensure that orders are sent to suppliers
* Ensure confirmation of receipt and delivery dates
Sourcing:
* Source and procure goods related to Energy market including electrical components
Collaboration with Project Teams:
* Work closely with project teams to understand project requirements and timelines.
* Provide efficient and timely procurement of materials in line with the overall business strategy.
Cost Negotiation and Budget Management:
* Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
Compliance and Documentation:
* Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
* Ensure that the procurement process operates in line with Group Procurement Processes and Procedures
* Work closely with Finance Department and resolve any invoice related issues to allow smooth P2P process.

Knowledge
Essential:
* Previous experience in a similar administration roll
* Familiar with IT Systems

* An eagerness to learn new IT and technical skills
* Very good administration, communication, and interpersonal skills
* A strong desire to develop in a technical industry that is rapidly growing and fast paced
Desirable:
* Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and analytical skill
