The duties will include assisting in the preparation and management of the Dedicated Schools Grant, budget monitoring, final accounts, and related tasks in accordance with agreed timescales, standards, and code of practice. The role will principally provide finance support for Early Years and support the continuation of early years expansion and wraparound projects. The position will involve working alongside budget holders to provide financial advice and financial solutions. Successful applicants will develop, maintain, and provide a range of financial information for budget holders and both internal and external partners. These partners include Schools and Early Years Providers. In addition, you will have the opportunity to continue your studies towards becoming a fully qualified CCAB accountant. About You With a demonstrable understanding of accountancy and financial management, and excellent all-round communication skills, you ll deliver efficient finance systems, respond to changes & new legislation, you ll also require networking and influencing skills to build relationships with internal and external customers, including schools and private providers.
