Role Overview
This position is vital for the governance of the charity, working with the Chair, Board, and Senior Management Team to ensure organizational success. Your expertise will help enhance the effectiveness of the Board and support our strategic goals.
What We're Looking For
We seek a candidate with the time, energy, and confidence to contribute to governance and bring fundraising expertise. Experience or interest in high-value fundraising, corporate partnerships, trusts, or major donors is desirable. Strong networking skills and knowledge of the UK charity sector are important. An understanding of charity governance and empathy with our mission are essential. We encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds, especially from minority groups.
Key Responsibilities
Support our fundraising ambitions by leveraging personal and professional networks, developing creative fundraising strategies, and assessing risks and impacts of fundraising activities. Previous board experience is not required; training will be provided.
Additional Information
This role is non-executive and involves participation in strategic planning and governance. No prior board experience is necessary.
