Are you an experienced Plant Operator looking for a new opportunity in the Bristol area? Key responsibilities:
Set a strong example for Health, Safety, Welfare, Environmental and Quality standards at all times
Understand and follow Site Emergency Procedures, HASWA responsibilities, and all site rules
Report accidents, near misses, environmental incidents, and assist with audits and inspections
Perform daily visual checks of plant and product quality to identify and resolve issues promptly
Maintain plant and equipment, ensuring PPMs are completed accurately and defects reported immediately
Support recovery of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, ensuring equipment is clean and operational
Communicate effectively with loading shovel drivers to maintain consistent material flow
Attend and contribute to monthly Health & Safety and Operations meetings
Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and care for all PPE
Actively engage in training, toolbox talks, and job appraisals to enhance your skills and knowledge
What we’re looking for:
Experience working as a Plant Operator or similar role within waste management or recycling industries
Strong commitment to health and safety, environment, and quality standards
Ability to work well within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and management
Flexibility, persistence, and a driven attitude to exceed targets and improve processes
Willingness to participate in site procedures and continuous personal development
