About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen in NHS Northumberland Talking Therapies for a Clinical Lead to support the delivery of our clinical services.
Our Talking Therapy team consists of a range of Psychological therapists working across steps 2, 3 and 4 delivering NICE evidenced talking therapies. Treatment is delivered by telephone, in groups, face to face and using digital therapy options.
The role of Clinical Lead provides strategic clinical leadership of the service and is jointly responsible with the Service Manager in the planning, development and delivery of a high quality, responsive and accessible NHS Talking Therapies service. You will support the Deputy Clinical Lead, Step Leads and Senior Clinicians with clinical decisions and be the point of contact for the practitioners, identifying best practice and demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement .
You will develop positive relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring that NHS Northumberland Talking Therapies remains a respected and valued partner within the changing mental health landscape. You will represent the service at local, regional and national level by building relationships with the ICB, partner agencies and clinical forums.
