Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (Qualified)
Join us to work at HMP Prisons as part of a multidisciplinary team that offers Mental Health and Wellbeing Services to the populations of HMP Norwich, HMP Bure and HMP Wayland. This is a challenging yet rewarding place for healthcare professionals.
We are looking to recruit a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team. Qualified applicants will hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Low‑Intensity Psychological Therapies.
You will work as part of a diverse and supportive team of Psychological Therapists, PWPs, nurses, psychologists, and psychiatrists. We offer the opportunity to continue developing expertise through training and development opportunities within our service.
THIS POSITION INVOLVES WORKING ACROSS MULTIPLE PRISON SITES, SO ABILITY TO DRIVE AND TRAVEL INDEPENDENTLY IS ESSENTIAL AS SOME SITES ARE NOT ACCESSIBLE BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT.
Responsibilities
* Provide psychological wellbeing interventions across the three prison sites.
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support service users from arrest to release.
* Participate in training and supervision sessions.
* Support the development and evaluation of psychological services.
Qualifications
* PGCert in Low‑Intensity Psychological Therapies.
* Ability to travel independently across prison sites.
* Experience working in a challenging setting (preferred).
