As a Team Leader at Hobbycraft, you will assist the Store Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the store and, in the Manager’s absence, operate the shop, ensuring excellent customer service and driving incremental sales. You will demonstrate the brand’s values, mentor colleagues, and support the management of a diverse team.

Key Responsibilities
* Teamwork and leadership – lead by example, coach colleagues to deliver outstanding service and commercial awareness.
* Brand ambassador – promote the Hobbycraft brand, embrace change proactively.
* Planner – ensure the store is ready for a successful day of trade.
* Relationship builder – treat everyone fairly and with dignity, uphold Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging policy.
* Merchandiser – coordinate deliveries and handle manual tasks required for the role.
* Click and Collect – coordinate the Click and Collect process.
* Policy expert – ensure compliance with Company policies and Health & Safety regulations.
* Communicator – deliver clear communication, key messages and daily targets to the team.
* Host workshops in-store.
* Store management – oversee day‑to‑day operations, keyholding, opening & closing, cash controls, PI counts, admin, back‑of‑house access, security, all data compliance.
* Recruitment – support the Store Manager in recruiting, inducting and training new colleagues.
* Colleague support – provide coaching and support where appropriate.
What We’re Looking For – Experience
* Proven track record in a retail or similar environment.
* Duty management experience is advantageous.
* Passionate about sales and profit.
