Salary: £39,152 - £41,771 a year plus £5,500 market supplement allowance and £963 essential car user allowance (subject to criteria)

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to support children with learning difficulties and their families.
In This Role, You Will
* Receive and coordinate complex referrals
* Undertake detailed assessments and develop effective care plans
* Arrange and deliver targeted interventions
* Review and adapt services to meet evolving needs
* Work closely with families and professionals to safeguard and promote wellbeing
* Contribute to shaping and improving future service delivery

About You
You will be a confident practitioner with strong experience in children’s social care.
You Will Have
* Substantial post-qualification social work experience
* Ability to make sound professional judgements in multi-disciplinary settings
* Experience managing complex and high-risk cases with minimal supervision
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively and share expertise within a team
* Good organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and targets
* Confidence to work independently and use your initiative
* Ability to identify service gaps and influence service delivery
Knowledge & Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of Children and Family Services legislation and statutory responsibilities
* Understanding of safeguarding, risk of harm, and service eligibility criteria
* Knowledge of child development and family dynamics
* Understanding of learning difficulties and mental health issues
* DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent recognised qualification
