Take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to learn new skills and become one of our Supporting Volunteers. You will welcome visitors to our pre-loved bookshop at Foxton Top Lock and maintain the stock of books. There will be opportunities to create displays and make the shop look attractive to visitors.
As a Supporting Volunteer, you will feel part of the team, with plenty of opportunities to take responsibility for the bookshop. This will include keeping the shop looking clean and inviting.
You will be taking payments, giving change, and managing a small float.
You should have an interest in books and a willingness to learn about the history of the locks so that you can share this knowledge with visitors.
