The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on both one-off and small-batch production projects in a clean, well-equipped workshop environment. Key Responsibilities Fabricate, weld, and assemble mild steel components to precise specifications using MIG/TIG techniques. Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication schematics accurately. Operate a range of workshop machinery and tools, including saws, grinders, and presses. Ensure all work meets required tolerances and quality standards. Work independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality projects on time. Maintain a safe, organised, and compliant working environment. Support and mentor junior team members when required. Essential Criteria Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar fabrication role. Proven ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings. Strong technical understanding of mild steel fabrication and welding processes. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to maintain a safe and efficient working environment. Desirable Criteria Experience working with stainless steel or bespoke, one-off fabrication projects. Background in manufacturing, structural, or custom-built metalwork.
