R Ashton & Son Ltd is a small, busy, family run village garage that has been servicing the community since 1970. We are seeking an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician, MOT Examiner is an advantage, but not essential, to join our longstanding team near Beccles, Suffolk. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern vehicle systems.
* Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks, including, servicing, oil changes, cam belts, brake servicing and adjustments on a variety of motor vehicles
* Diagnose and trouble shoot issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
* Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with safety regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used
* Work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
