You will provide advice and support to guide and encourage participants to overcome barriers to employment and achieve realistic job goals. You will manage a caseload of participants, coaching and mentoring them as the principal trusted contact to build strong relationships, guide, motivate, challenge, encourage and help customers obtain sustainable employment. Our ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be target driven and a motivational adviser, with initiative and the ability to seek solutions to problems and work under pressure without day-to-day supervision. In return for your dedication, knowledge and commitment, we offer a competitive salary range of £26,500 to £29,545 per annum (dependent on experience) with benefits including a pension, holiday entitlement and more. Key Responsibilities
* Meet and strive to exceed personal performance targets (Key Performance Indicators).
* Progressively manage a caseload of referred customers using a range of strategies to help overcome barriers to employment.
* Deliver a positive experience to new customers, ensuring engagement with you and the programme.
* Meet Customer Service Standards required on the programme.
* Facilitate a range of assessments to understand a customer\'s circumstances, ambitions and goals.
* Provide advice on self-employment Basics and signpost to internal self-employment specialists as needed.
* Co-produce personalised Action Plans with SMART targets to enable progression.
* Provide tailored support in job-search and interview preparation to match customers to suitable jobs for sustained employment.
* Offer training/guidance to master digital technologies for guided self-service learning and online vacancies.
* Ensure all evidence requirements are met to verify job starts.
* Understand the local labour market to source suitable opportunities.
* Undertake direct marketing to employers using digital channels.
* Market specific customers to employers and identify recruitment needs for tailored prescreens and group assessments.
* Develop relationships with key stakeholders to maximise opportunities (e.g., federation of small businesses, chamber of commerce).
* Maintain customer records to required compliance and quality standards.
* Understand specialist signposting services in the local area, applying knowledge to caseload management.
* Participate in continuous improvement to maintain high service standards.
* Act as an employee owner, considering the best interests of the company and colleagues; adhere to best practice.
* Be prepared to work flexibly, including travel and overnight stays.
* Be accountable for own professional development and undertake training as identified in performance reviews.
* Handle personal data in accordance with the organisation\'s data protection policy.
* Promote safeguarding and Prevent among children, young people and vulnerable adults.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures including safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion, quality, health and safety and IT.
* Undertake other duties as required, appropriate to the post.
Skills and Experience
Essential
* A good working knowledge of the local labour market in the specified geographical locations
* Basic knowledge of self-employment
* Fully IT literate in Microsoft Office programs
* Experience of working in a target-driven environment
* Experience of delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards
Desirable
* Knowledge of the employability industry
* Knowledge of the recruitment industry
* Experience of working with people in information, advice and guidance
* Full driving licence
