Position Title: Waking Night Support WorkerLocation: Newark, NottinghamshireHourly Rate: £14.25 per hour Mondays through till Saturdays, and £14.75 per hour on Sundays.Hours Per Week: Two Waking Nights (24 hours per week) - shifts: 21:30 till 09:30Vacancy Type: PermanentJob Reference: SOLOKREABOUT THE ROLEI am a young man with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and severe epilepsy. I live at home with my family in the Newark area of Nottinghamshire.I am looking for caring individuals to join my current team, supporting me with my care needs throughout the day and night. You will be required to assist me with all aspects of personal care, including PEG feeding, care and administering medication, moving & handling, ventilation and suctioning tasks.ABOUT YOUYou will be joining my established team, who support me with 2:1 support 24/7.
You need to be positive, enthusiastic,caring and patient, and have experience in supporting individuals with a learning disability. You will be a strong communicator, trustworthy, respectful, a team player, and possess a genuine commitment to the role.
