Graduate Psychology - Teaching Assistant
GSL Education is recruiting Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistants to support students academically and assist class teachers in their development. If you have completed university and are considering a career in education, this role offers valuable experience.
Our client is looking for graduates interested in pursuing teaching careers. The role involves working across EYFS to Year 11, providing classroom support, 1:1 assistance, small group interventions, classroom teaching, and leading booster sessions.
We are looking for a teaching assistant who:
* Can maintain high standards
* Has at least 6 months experience in an education or childcare setting
* Holds a degree or equivalent in a relevant subject such as English, Child Care, Health and Social Care, Psychology, or SEN
* Has experience working with children or young people (preferred)
* Is innovative, creative, and passionate about student achievement
* Enthusiastic about working with students with diverse needs and abilities
* Possesses excellent communication and organizational skills
* Has a good understanding of the primary curriculum and child learning processes
* Can work collaboratively within a team to create a stimulating learning environment
* Can share expertise with parents and staff regarding children's needs and progress
Note: This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Successful candidates must pass all background checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
