About the Role:
As a Multi Skilled Operative, you will work with Octavia Council within our social housing sector, providing stable and profitable contracts, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams who understand the importance of working together for the community.
You will support residents with reactive repairs across our property portfolio, working on a planned route. Part of a local team, you will undertake high-standard multi-trade repairs and refurbishment activities, ensuring safety, quality, and cost standards are met. Your core trade certification will enable you to perform additional trade activities to complete repairs and refurbishment works on time and to a high standard, following standard operating procedures. You will take ownership of construction, fault finding, and maintenance repairs, aiming for first-time completion within budget and time constraints.
Role Criteria:
* Experience in Plumbing
* Good Customer Service Skills
* Experience in a social housing environment
* Repairs and maintenance experience
* Own tools
All roles require candidates to have the right to work in the UK. Mears does not currently sponsor visas.
To drive a Mears vehicle, candidates must be over 21, have held their license for over 3 months, and have less than 9 points.
