Join our dynamic team as a Mechanical Engineering Trainer/Assessor based at our Radstock Campus. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced engineer to pass on their knowledge, help shape the future of apprentices, and grow their own career in education and training.
What You'll Do:
As a Trainer/Assessor, you'll work with apprentices in Mechanical Engineering to deliver high-quality, inspiring training and assessment. Your core responsibilities will include:
* Delivering induction, training, coaching, and assessment to apprentices on their Apprenticeship Programmes.
* Designing and delivering engaging and flexible learning programmes, incorporating both face-to-face and digital platforms.
* Teaching knowledge-based modules and coordinating classroom learning in partnership with other college teams.
* Monitoring and assessing learners' progress, maintaining accurate and timely records of learning and achievement.
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for a passionate and experienced professional who meets the following criteria:
? NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering
? Relevant industry experience in mechanical engineering or a related field
? Excellent communication and coaching skills
? A genuine passion for developing others
?? No assessing qualification yet? No problem!
We will fully fund and support you through your Assessor qualification, helping you to transition successfully into this role.
