Job Title: Shipping Clerk
Job Description
The candidate will work in the Inventory and Shipping/Receiving Department, ensuring the accurate fulfillment of daily film orders. Responsibilities include pulling and cutting film according to order specifications, labeling products, and preparing them for shipping. The candidate will perform cycle counts as required and conduct full inventory counts, monitor inventory levels, and order film as needed. Shipping and receiving duties also involve processing returns, unloading inbound shipments and pallets, and assembling boxes. The role requires material handling capabilities, including using pallet jacks, ladders, and transport carts, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience with an ERP system is required, and SAP experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
* Ensure accurate fulfillment of daily film orders.
* Pull and cut film according to order specifications.
* Label products and prepare them for shipping.
* Perform cycle counts and full inventory counts.
* Monitor inventory and order film as needed.
* Process returns, unload inbound shipments and pallets, and assemble boxes.
* Handle materials using pallet jacks, ladders, and transport carts.
* Work independently with minimal supervision.
* Utilize ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus.
Essential Skills
* At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
* Experience operating a manual pallet jack.
* Proficient in using a computer, including internet browsers and email.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly throughout the day.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Experience in shipping and receiving.
* Material handling experience.
* RF scanner and forklift experience.
* High School Diploma or equivalency is required.
* Valid driver's license is required.
* Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
* SAP experience.
* Experience with UPS Worldship and/or FedEx Connect Ship is a plus.
* Experience with a warehouse management system is a plus.

Work Environment
The work environment is air-conditioned and team-oriented, consisting of three warehouse associates and one warehouse lead. The dress code requires wearing jeans, a work shirt, steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and cutting gloves. The position follows a first shift schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
