This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospital pharmacist with an interest in digital health systems to further their experience by undertaking research and evaluation at the Centre for Medicines Optimisation Research and Education-CMORE
Main duties of the job
Working within CMORE, with colleagues from Digital Healthcare and the NIHR Central London Patient Safety Research Collaboration, the post holder will be leading on an evaluation of the electronic prescription service in the hospital context, and a research priority setting exercise relating to digital medication safety.
The role will include designing and piloting data collection methods, protocol design, data collection and analysis, report writing and dissemination, all within the area of digital medication safety.
Projects will include an evaluation of the electronic prescription service in the hospital context, and a research priority setting exercise in relation to digital medicines and patient safety. The post holder will also provide support to the pharmacy department as a hospital pharmacist as needed.
