We are pleased to offer opportunities for experienced Health Care Assistants to join our expanding teams on Acute Inpatients wards and the Forensic Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit within the Directorate of Mental Health.
Our Mental Health Services provide voluntary and involuntary short-term inpatient management and treatment during an acute phase of mental illness, until the person has recovered enough to be treated effectively and safely in the community.
The role of the HCA involves working as part of the nursing team to support individuals through their recovery, addressing both their physical health and mental health needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a healthcare setting, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing excellent patient care.

Please note that Healthcare Assistants work a rota system of long days (12-hour shifts), covering day and night shifts across a 7-day week.
We offer both part-time and full-time positions, with a minimum requirement of 23 hours per week.
These are permanent roles, not bank roles, and we are unable to offer sponsorship.
