Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Engineering Teacher to join a reputable, Good Ofsted-rated secondary school in North Liverpool. This is a full‑time position with an immediate start, and the role offers the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Engineering lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, contributing to a dynamic and well‑resourced Technology and Engineering Department. The school is recognised for strong leadership, a positive learning culture, and a commitment to staff development.
Key Responsibilities
* Planning and delivering engaging and technically accurate Engineering lessons.
* Supporting students in developing practical skills, problem‑solving abilities, and confidence within STEM subjects.
* Maintaining a safe and well‑organised workshop environment in line with health and safety standards.
* Contributing to departmental planning, assessment, and curriculum development.
* Demonstrating high expectations for behaviour, progress, and achievement.
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Specialism or strong teaching experience in Engineering or a related Technology discipline.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for STEM education.
* Ability to start immediately.
