We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing client in the Grantham area for a Quality Assurance Officer to join their production team.This is a temporary-to-permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to secure a long-term role in a technically advanced and growing environment. The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out in-process and final inspections across various manufacturing stages
2. Use inspection and measuring equipment to verify dimensional and visual conformity
3. Ensure compliance with internal quality procedures and ISO 9001 standards
4. Record and report non-conformances; support root cause analysis and corrective actions
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inspection records and quality documentation
6. Liaise with production, technical and management teams to resolve quality concerns
7. Assist in maintaining calibration schedules and quality control equipment
8. Contribute to ongoing improvements in product quality and process efficiency
Requirements
9. Previous experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role within manufacturing
10. Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems
11. Confident using measurement tools (e.g. calipers, micrometers, gauges)
12. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications
13. Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
14. Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
