ID Asbestos, based in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, is looking to recruit motivated Asbestos Removal Operatives to join our growing team.
We carry out both licensed and non-licensed asbestos removal work in domestic and commercial properties across East Anglia. If you have experience in asbestos removal, we'd love to hear from you
We may also consider applicants with no direct asbestos industry experience – especially those with a background in construction – provided you hold a Full UK Driving Licence. Unfortunately, we're unable to consider applications without a driving licence.

* Time and a half for hours over 40 per week.
* Time and a half for Saturdays.

Hours
* Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 with 30 minutes to be taken for lunch (unpaid).
* Flexibility required to accommodate client needs, occasional evening or weekend work may be offered.
Salary
* Negotiable, dependent on experience.
* This can be discussed prior to arranging an interview.
About the Role
As an Asbestos Removal Operative, your main responsibilities will include:
* Safely removing asbestos-containing materials in line with legislation, company procedures, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments.
* Using PPE and equipment correctly and reporting any defects.
* Maintaining professional and effective communication with colleagues and clients.
* Supporting team members and following instructions from Supervisors and Management.
* Contributing to a safe, tidy, and respectful work environment.
Previous asbestos removal experience and training certificates are desirable but not essential – we provide full training for the right candidate.
What We're Looking For
* Physically fit and able to undertake manual work.
* Clean-shaven (to ensure correct fitting of respiratory masks).
* Punctual, reliable, and able to travel to our Great Yarmouth premises each morning.
* Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, or stay away from home (rare, but may be required).
* Good communication skills and a professional approach on site.
