We are currently looking to recruit a Logistics Coordinator to help further support the sales function in terms of providing assistance in providing quotations, dealing with customer enquiries & other duties as reasonably requested.
What you'll be doing :
* Schedule and monitor pickups and deliveries with hauliers and transport companies.
* Track shipments and resolve delays or issues
* Negotiate rates with carriers and freight forwarders
* Liaise with suppliers, customers and internal departments
* Provide updates on delivery status and resolve queries
* Collaborate with warehouse staff and logistics teams
* Handle income phone calls
* Dealing with sales teams on a day to day basis in relation to their sales order
What you'll need:
* 2 years previous experience in this type of role.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel essential (Sage desirable)
* Knowledge of ISO 9001 (preferable)
* Knowledge of working in manufacturing environment (preferable)
* Experience working on sales quotations desirable
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal
* Excellent customer service and good telephone manner
* Self motivated and can work with minimum supervision
