We are currently partnering with a fast-growing, international logistics specialist to recruit aFreight & Customs Coordinatorbased in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team operating in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment with a strong focus on international shipping and customs compliance.
Duties include:
1. Coordinate export shipments (approximately 90%) and import shipments (10%) from the UK, ensuring timely delivery within budget across airfreight, roadfreight, and courier methods
2. Prepare all required documentation to ensure smooth customs clearance, including AWBs, T1s, POAs, CBP documentation, Security Declarations, Art Declarations, and Lacey Act documentation
3. Manage export customs declarations (free circulation, bond, and temporary admission) via eCustoms using CDS, ensuring correct tariff codes and CPCs are applied
4. Provide proactive customer support to overseas importers, advising them on how to complete required customs documentation
5. Coordinate and manage overseas agents and specialist partners (including white glove providers) to ensure seamless shipment completion
