Operations Assistant - Aberdeen - William Wilson

Role: Operations Assistant based in Aberdeen. Responsibilities include:
1. Maintaining high levels of availability to professionally handle inbound customer service requirements, cases, and emails within response times.
2. Following processes for customer orders and providing accurate product availability by checking supply sources, lead times, and suppliers directly.
3. Maximizing sales opportunities through up-selling and following up on quotations or price inquiries.
4. Proactively following up on backorders and ensuring correct use of the forward ordering system to maximize product availability.
This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week: Monday to Thursday, 08:00am - 17:00pm, and Friday 08:00-16:00. Some Saturdays (1-3) may be required from 08:00-12:00 once fully trained.
Ideal candidate:
* Heating and Plumbing knowledge (preferred)
* Previous customer service experience (preferred)
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
