Graduate Town Planner - Birmingham - 2026 Graduate Scheme
Location: Birmingham, United Kingdom. The role is full‑time, permanent.
Pegasus Group invites applications for our 2026 Graduate Training Scheme. Join our dynamic Planning team in Birmingham, working on a variety of projects for diverse clients.
Please note that due to changes in Government Legislation we are unable to fulfil the remuneration requirements for Graduate level, therefore unable to accept applications from individuals who hold a student or Graduate Visa. We continue to support colleagues at later stages in their career, requiring work‑sponsored Visas.
What are we looking for?
* RTPI accredited degree or similar relevant degree in Geography, Town Planning/Urban Planning, or Built Environment.
* A logical and analytical approach.
* Great problem‑solving and communication skills.
* Ability to use your own initiative and think outside the box.
Work experience in Town/Urban Planning would be advantageous but not essential. You will learn on the job with the support of our Graduate Training Scheme.
Role responsibilities
As a Graduate Town Planner you will work closely with the Planning team, delivering wide‑ranging planning consultancy services across a variety of projects and schemes. You’ll prepare, submit and negotiate planning applications and statements, support public consultations and site visits, and provide professional advice to clients, local planning authorities and other statutory bodies. You will gain experience across multiple sectors to support your development.
