Vacancy Ref. TA20876
Duties: I would like someone to accompany me to the activities that I enjoy. I require 2:1 support at all times and need to trust the people who support me. I currently have a regular worker who can help make connections with me. Support with my toileting needs are required (Pad changing). Supervision is always required when walking and I do use a wheelchair. I also need constant supervision as I cannot be left alone. I do tend to fall asleep and then have seizures, so I need to be not left to sleep during your working time with me. Ideally, I would like to establish a team of people that can support me into adulthood and beyond.
Hours: Initially between 12-25 hours per week during school holidays moving to 50 hours or more a week between 2 people during the school holidays and 7 hours on Sundays between two people. I have 50 hours per week 2:1 year-round so hours can be discussed for week evenings and weekends once relationships are established.
