Associate Senior Event Manager – Bloomberg

Bloomberg is a global leader in business and financial information, news, and insight. The role is part of the Marketing department’s Global Event Team (GET), responsible for creating and executing in‑person, virtual and hybrid events that engage audiences across business, government and philanthropy.
Responsibilities
 * Develop, plan and execute sales and marketing event programs to support business objectives.
 * Use Bloomberg‑specific event execution tools, systems and infrastructure to deliver events.
 * Collaborate with marketing program managers and external partners (government agencies, conference organisers, key associations, etc.) to ensure successful deployment and integration of events.
 * Project‑manage mid‑high level complex events, infusing customised, out‑of‑the‑box ideas and solutions.
 * Lead the creative process, including invitations, in‑person & virtual production, audio‑visual requirements, virtual platforms and components.
 * Lead projects with multiple partners across geographies and businesses from inception to delivery.
 * Leverage relationships with business stakeholders to go beyond execution excellence, connecting the products, audiences and markets to event formats and programmes.
 * Prepare and align event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and ensure timely payments and reconciliations.
Qualifications
 * 5–10 years of event/experiential planning experience.
 * Highly articulate, polished, and able to present to all levels of management.
 * Ability to multi‑task, work flexibly under tight deadlines.
 * Experience integrating events into marketing campaigns and understanding the role of events within an integrated communications framework.
 * Ability to work with minimal supervision while taking direction appropriately.
 * Strong interpersonal skills and effective team collaboration.
Preferred
 * Track record of success working in a fast‑paced, fast‑growing global organisation on in‑person and virtual events.
 * High energy, problem‑solving, self‑starter, results‑oriented, proactive with a high sense of urgency.
 * Ability to effectively lead and influence internal and external partners toward intended and successful results.
