Duties
* Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards.
* Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
* Support catering operations by preparing dishes for events and special occasions.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service.
* Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting shortages.
* Provide excellent service to customers by ensuring their needs are met promptly.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred.
* Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills is an advantage.
* Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field.
* Excellent teamwork abilities, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
