What you'll be doing:
1. Building and configuring technical solutions of networked hardware and software
2. Integration of COTS hardware and software
3. Adherence to systems engineering practices
4. Fault finding and resolution of issues in a production environment to a successful conclusion
5. Producing clear and concise technical documentation
6. Reporting on progress and providing feedback to team members and leadership
7. Frequent visits to customer sites to support deployment
Your skills and experiences:
8. Configuration and management of Network Monitoring Tools
9. Knowledge and understanding of at least one scripting language e.g. PowerShell
10. Installation and configuration of Layer 2 switched networks and Layer 3 routed networks
11. Knowledge of Modern Development Practices including Testing
12. Experience of network management protocols e.g. SNMP, SSH, SysLog, ICMP
13. Technical documentation production
