As we scale up from advanced R&D into volume manufacturing, we are looking for a Project Engineer to help us transition products smoothly into production.The RoleYou’ll be the connective tissue between our engineering, operations, and production teams — owning the configuration and control of our products as they move from prototypes to fully industrialised assemblies.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and manage Bills of Materials (BoMs) for new and existing productsMaintain part numbers, revision control, and documentation within PLM/ERP systemsCoordinate product change control and configuration managementWork with engineering to ensure designs are production-readySupport the ramp-up of new products from trials to formal releaseHelp define and improve processes for production data handover.What We’re Looking ForExperience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, ideally electronics relatedSolid understanding of product lifecycle, change control, and configuration managementHighly organised, detail-oriented, and structured in your approachGood communicator – able to work across disciplines and levelsComfortable working in a small, fast-paced, growing businessPractical, delivery-focused mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleevesPrevious experience of ISO9001 or quality-controlled production environments.Nice to HaveExperience with ERP or PLM systems (e.g. Sage, SolidWorks PDM)Background in power electronics or semiconductor assembly.Why Join RAM?Be part of a UK-based team developing genuinely world-class techWork on real hardware with real impactFlat structure, high visibility, and a say in how things are doneWe value people who take initiative, finish what they start, and do things properly.
