Aftersales & Warranty Engineer – Leeds
£35,000 + Generous Profit Share Scheme + Progression
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Aftersales & Warranty Engineer to join a growing, family-owned manufacturing business in Leeds.

The Role
The Aftersales & Warranty Engineer will act as the single point of contact for customers for all aftersales and warranty matters, managing the full lifecycle of cases from initial notification to final resolution. The role requires strong technical understanding, problem-solving, and customer-focused communication, ensuring all issues are resolved promptly and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with the Site Services, Production, Engineering, Planning, and Quality teams, this position ensures that aftersales and warranty activities drive product reliability, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all aftersales and warranty cases from first notification to closure
* Conduct on-site inspections to diagnose faults, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions
* Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and Bills of Material (BOMs) for rectification work
* Work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
* Coordinate site interventions and monitor progress to ensure timely, high-quality completion
* Record and track all events in the ERP system, providing accurate reporting and trend analysis
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback to enhance product design, processes, and service delivery
Skills & Experience
* Experience working with transformers – essential
* Aftersales/warranty experience in a manufacturing environment – desirable
* Strong analytical, technical, and organisational skills with a hands-on approach
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident liaising with clients and contractors
* Experience with ERP/MRP systems (MS Dynamics preferred)
* Full driving licence required
* Flexible, proactive, and able to work to strict timelines
* Team player with a “can-do” attitude and continuous improvement mindset
Salary & Benefits
* Up to £40,000 per annum, plus quarterly profit share
* 37.5 hours per week, office-based in Leeds
