The Role: As the Senior Operations Manager you'll be responsible for the full operational spectrum: Production, OPEX, Quality, Supply Chain, Inventory, Scheduling, Shipping, HR, Finance, Sales, and Customer Service. Your mission? To lead and scale the site operations, embed lean practices, and ensure world-class performance while supporting the business’s ambitious global growth. What You’ll Be Doing: Leading a team of 75 employees at a busy UK Electromechanical manufacturing site. Owning operational KPIs including cost, quality, delivery, and safety. Driving lean and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborating cross-functionally with both UK and international teams. Leading the site through scale-up phases and transformation projects. Partners with Global OPEX manager to support and lead OPEX and lean initiatives, which drive process improvement. Champions and offers support for all Safety, Quality and Lean activities, including adoption and implementation. Ensure personal and professional development of direct reports. Effectively manage, develop, and motivate direct and indirect reports. Provide effective, constructive, and appropriate feedback and leadership to direct reports to foster positive, team atmosphere while establishing responsibilities and accountabilities that are clear and measurable. Foster a culture of accountability.What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in a senior operations or plant management role. Managed sites with 75 employees and revenue of £50M Engineering or manufacturing industry background. Must have experience working in a Complex Electromechanical manufacturing Environment A hands-on leader who thrives in high-growth, matrixed environments.
