About The Role
The Institute of Health and Allied Professions at Nottingham Trent University is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Paramedicine Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to join our academic team. We’re seeking an individual who is experienced in the field of Paramedicine and who can provide high quality teaching and learning for our students. The successful candidate will join the Paramedic Team to contribute to Paramedic, ambulance practice and continuing professional development courses, including planning, delivery, assessment, and quality assurance across the Paramedic programmes. You will contribute to student recruitment for the courses and act as a personal tutor for Paramedic students and apprentices, providing pastoral care and coordinating progress reviews in partnership with key stakeholder organisations to ensure high-quality learning experiences for students.
Responsibilities
* Participate in planning, delivery, assessment, and quality assurance across Paramedic programmes.
* Contribute to student recruitment for Paramedic courses.
* Act as a personal tutor for Paramedic students and apprentices; provide pastoral care and coordinate progress reviews for apprentices.
* Work with key stakeholder organisations to support high-quality learning experiences.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience working with learners in practice or higher education.
* Experience designing and delivering learning opportunities.
* Good understanding of current and evolving clinical, professional, and policy developments in Paramedicine.
* Excellent communication skills and a willingness to develop scholarly, practice, or research profile.
