The Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic, experienced SEN teachers to join our supply team. You will provide day-to-day cover in a variety of school settings, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is an excellent opportunity to gain diverse experience, work flexibly, and make a real difference to young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver engaging, tailored lessons and support for pupils with SEN
2. Manage classroom behaviour and support individual learning plans
3. Work closely with school staff and SENCOs to maintain continuity
4. Adapt quickly to different school environments and pupil needs
5. Ensure safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils in your care
Requirements:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
7. Experience working with pupils with SEND
8. Strong knowledge of SEN strategies, legislation, and best practice
9. Flexibility to work across multiple schools at short notice
10. Excellent communication and organisational skills
11. Enhanced DBS clearance (or willing to obtain)
