Interim HR Generalist - Immediate start - Belfast
MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a growing organisation as they look to appoint an experienced HR Generalist to join the team on a temporary basis, with an immediate start available.
The role
This is a hands‑on, operational HR role suited to someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a busy environment and can quickly hit the ground running across the full employee lifecycle.
You’ll work closely with managers across the business, supporting day‑to‑day HR operations while ensuring a positive employee experience throughout.
The main responsibilities
* Managing end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding.
* Supporting employee relations casework including absence, disciplinaries and grievances.
* Advising managers on HR policy and best practice.
* Managing contracts, HR documentation and employee records.
* Supporting performance management and employee engagement activity.
* Assisting with HR reporting and general HR administration.
* Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal processes.
The successful candidate
* Previous experience in a generalist HR role in Northern Ireland.
* Strong operational HR experience across the full employee lifecycle.
* Comfortable managing a busy workload in a fast‑paced environment.
* Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
