Spire Bristol Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Nurse Catheter Lab to join the bank team.

Duties and responsibilities:
1. To provide exemplary planned care for patients both pre and post cardiac catheter lab procedures
2. To ensure the team delivers effective patient care by providing appropriate clinical leadership
3. To participate in the pre-assessment of all cath lab patients (when required)
4. To develop and improve the cardiology service (Cath Lab, Cardiology OPD and Cardiology POA)
5. Develop practice in the assessment of health and wellbeing needs
6. Develop practice in addressing and assessing an individual’s health and wellbeing needs
7. Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information
8. Develop knowledge and practice in an area of work
9. Develops a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security
10. Develop and improve services
11. Improve quality
12. Enable people to exercise their rights and promote their equality and diversity
13. Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practice within the specialty of cardiology
14. Plan, monitor and quality assure the application of technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment
Who we're looking for:
15. Registered Nurse
16. Experience in circulating and scrubbing for a variety of cardiac Cath lab procedures
17. ILS
18. Experience in pre-assessment
19. ALS provider
20. Experienced in all aspects of cardiac cath lab
21. Working as a practitioner in and across multi-disciplinary teams
22. Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient case mixes
23. Challenging consultants to influence evidence-based practice
24. Share evidence based practices with colleagues to enhance service and standards
25. Experience of working in partnership with consultants and participating in creating innovative solution for the service
