Here's the exciting bit...a day includes
* Full briefing and debriefing of driving teams toensure communication of vital information and feedback captured
* Preparing store bags and updating store instructions
* Communicating with all required departments and supportfunctions to ensure a smooth and timely operation
* Ensure vehicles and trailers are road legal by following sitedefect processes
* Provide first line contact for driving teams in the event ofdelivery queries, breakdowns, or emergency incidents
* Engaging with maintenance and breakdown services to assistbreakdowns and recoveries
* Provide first line contact with stores in the event ofschedule changes, delays and failures
* Supporting other transport functions, holiday and absencecover when required

What You'll Need
* 12 months previous administrator or operator experiencewithin a transport environment (essential)
* Experience of Telematics and Transport Management Systemswould be an advantage
* Flexible approach to performing other duties within thetransport operation as requested by your Line Manager
* Attention to detail
* Confident and calm approach to deal with general transportchallenges
* Excellent time and attendance record
* Good teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work on yourown
* Always demonstrate and maintain a high level of health andsafety awareness within Transport, ensuring own safety and the safety ofothers. Adopting the ASW, H&S Values: Always Safe at work; think smart,think safe.

Hours
: 40| The hours will be 4 x 10hrs, on a 4 out of 7-day rotasubject to requirements between 6am - 4pm or 10am - 8pm (inc weekends and bankholidays)
