An opportunity has arisen for an Undergraduate Coordinator within the Undergraduate Medical Education Department.
This 1 WTE post is based at both QMC and the City campus, with 4 days on site and 1 day working from home, supporting medical student placements in the trust.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate undergraduate medical student placements within the trust.
* Organise timetables and deliver welcome talks to students.
* Plan and run teaching and patient workshops across the clinical course.
* Collaborate with clinical teaching staff, medical students, and university teams to run placements efficiently.
* Familiarise with the full job description and person specification before applying.
* Collate student feedback and ensure responses, in conjunction with the Clinical Lead.
* Handle day‑to‑day placement queries and circulate placement information to students and clinical teachers.
* Responsive to short‑notice changes to teaching and act quickly to ensure good communication to all affected parties.
Qualifications
* Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience or knowledge of undergraduate medical training is an advantage.
