About the role
This is an exciting Investment Data Analayst role for a candidate with a minimum degree qualification of a Masters in Data Science (or equivalent STEM qualification) obtained from a recognised UK a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a similar role within a UK-based company.
This role involves working in a fast-growing data team within an established Pan-European real estate group. The role involves building data intelligence products for our internal team and external clients.

We have an ambitious growth strategy for our data intelligence team, Amro Data Labs, focussed on developing high value data products that provide insights for real estate investment and asset management. You will be part of a best-in-class team for data product solutions for the Living Sector in the UK and in Europe.
As an Investment Data Analyst you will develop data models and BI products for quantitative and qualitative insights deploying financial and non-financial data for a variety of use cases.
As a data-loving member of the team, your role involves identifying data sources, deploying your SQL and Python skills to build data models for generating insights and for visualised story telling. Your role will also involve client requirement gathering. You will have the opportunity for an all-round exposure to our core business.
The right candidate is one that relishes using their numeracy skills, building relational data models and producing high quality visualisations that best communicate objective market intelligence to our client base.
Prior experience in using Power BI for visualisation is a pre-requisite for this role.
Minimum qualifications
* Master's degree from a recognised UK university (preferably Russell Group) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
* Advanced proficiency in SQL and intermediate skills in Python for querying data bases and for scripting data ingestion
* Strong Power BI visualisation skills
* Strong ability to manipulate large datasets.
* Hands-on experience with cloud-based solutions like GCP is a advantage
Prior experience in a UK-based company
* Minimum 2 year's prior work experience in a UK-based company in a similar role as a Data Analyst, ideally analysing financial and economic data
* Minimum 2 year's prior work experience in manipulating large data sets, carrying out data cleaning, reconciliation and data investigation for generating reliable insights
* Minimum 2 year's prior work experience in garnering and visualising data insights on Power BI dashboards that help solve business problems in complex, fast-moving market environments.
* Proven project delivery and communication skills in cross functional teams.

Salary band applicable: £42,000-£49,000
