Posted: 14 September
Offer description

POGI Studio is a movement & rehabilitation clinic specialising in sports therapy, clinical Pilates, and reformer-based rehabilitation.

We help clients move beyond pain and regain strength, mobility, and confidence. Our focus is on one-to-one & two-to-one sessions, tailored treatment & management plans, hands-on work without relying on gym machines, and excellent homecare outcomes.

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled, compassionate, and motivated Reformer Pilates Instructor to join our team. You will deliver high-quality reformer Pilates sessions to individuals, often in conjunction with ongoing rehabilitation programs.

You'll help clients with back, neck, shoulder, hip & knee pain; sports injuries; muscle tension; and other movement or mobility issues. You'll work closely with therapists to ensure your instruction supports clients' recovery plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver safe, effective reformer Pilates sessions (one-to-one and two-to-one) tailored to individual clients' needs.

• Assess clients' movement, history, and current condition in concert with clinical & rehab goals.

• Collaborate with sports therapists and other POGI team members to integrate Pilates into broader treatment/rehab plans.

• Provide clear guidance, feedback and modifications to ensure clients move safely and progress over time.

• Offer support for home exercise programs, helping clients maintain improvements outside studio sessions.

• Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients; deliver excellent customer service.

• Ensure studio safety, cleanliness and equipment maintenance.

What We're Looking For:

• Certification / qualification in Pilates, with specialisation or experience in Reformer-style work.

• Experience working with clients who have pain, injuries or movement limitations (back, hips, knees, shoulders etc.).

• Good knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, posture, and how movement rehabilitation works.

• Ability to adapt classes to different ability levels, medical histories, and mobility limitations.

• Excellent communication, motivational and interpersonal skills.

• Compassion, patience, attentiveness.

• Strong attention to detail, safe practice & risk management.

• Reliable, punctual, and professional.

What We Offer:

• Supportive & collaborative team environment in a clinic which integrates clinical Pilates with sports therapy & rehabilitation.

• Opportunity to work with clients who are committed to improving movement & wellbeing (not just fitness).

• Flexibility around scheduling & hours. Family friendly environment.

• Room for professional development & growth.

• Use of high-quality equipment & facilities in Much Wenlock.
