Relationship Development Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Relationship Development Manager (maternity cover) role within a mission-driven organisation working at the intersection of higher education, research, and business collaboration. This role focuses on building strong relationships across the UK university knowledge-exchange community, supporting engagement with a digital platform that connects universities, research capability, and business innovation opportunities.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across universities and research institutions, helping them showcase their expertise, strengthen collaboration with industry, and maximise engagement with the platform.
Key details:
• Salary: £45,000–£50,000 (depending on experience)
• Contract: Maternity cover
• Location: Hybrid working (London-based office with homeworking)
The role will involve:
• Building and managing relationships with universities and research institutions
• Supporting knowledge-exchange and research commercialisation engagement
• Delivering campaigns to increase platform adoption and usage
• Representing the organisation at events and stakeholder meetings
• Developing case studies and engagement insights
