We are seeking a positive, dedicated and experienced childrens manager to oversee accommodation, care and support for Children in Looked After Care aged 11-17 years old. The ideal candidate will be passionate about transforming lives, demonstrate strong leadership skills and have a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children and staff in your care. This role involves working closely to our Statement of Purpose and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements whilst creating a life changing environment for our young people. The care home will provide accommodation, care and support services for CYP who may have had traumatic upbringing resulting in behaviour that challenges. Children will be 8-17 year old, in looked after care with a range of support needs including behaviour that challenges, physical sensory or learning disability, and/or autism spectrum disorder. Deputy Management of day-to-day operations within the care home, always ensuring the welfare of staff and children Building a safe, positive and preventative environment, in which staff and children are heard, understood and supported Ensure that the highest standards of care are maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements, including our Statement of Purpose.
